Infused Oils

Two days ago I gave you the Exhilaration Elixir formula. Pretty easy right? I was amazed at home simple a portion (or tincture) could be. Several of these things on their own can  bring about changes and carry magical properties, the blends are what help bring them to life. These mixes are great as stand alone items or in conjunction with your spells. Infused Oils and Salves are just as easy.

An infused oil is simple 1 part herb of choice for certain use and 3 part oil. Don’t worry, the type of oil is really not that particular. Coconut, grapeseed, mineral oil, olive oil (heck even vegetable oil) doesn’t matter just about what you have. Some oils do have their own smell though. These oils can then be used as anointing oils, dressing oils, or for daily use for a variety of things. They can also be used next to make salves (which I will get into later in the week).

One of my biggest concerns as a new witch was that everything has to be so specific, so perfect…I’m here to tell you it doesn’t. You are the key to your own magic and the tools are your aides. Don’t let “having the right things” stop you from practicing your religion or your rituals.

Like I mentioned early on in my posts using the moon and seasons can increase the potency of your magic but don’t let that stop you from bringing magick into your every day.
